Thanks to club member Peter Moloney, Mctc will be running a talk on Accident procedures arranged for January 14th at 8:00pm in the Midleton Park Hotel
A talk/advice will be given by professionals on what to do if your club mate(s) have an accident while out on a spin.
The agenda will be:
1. Assessing the situation .
2. Making the accident area safe .
3 Contacting the emergency services with the relevant info..(contacting family)
4. Information on how to deal with unconsciousness , concussion , broken bones etc.
5. Medical kits.
6.Organising a first aid course for members.
7. Cycling insurance .
8. Bike lighting and high vis clothing.
9.Group Cycling Etiquette .
This is an all too real senario that many of us will face at some point in our cycling lifes so we ask all members to attend for their own saftey as well as your club mates.
