A few photos from today's 2016 & 10th ever Sean Kelly. Conditions weren't ideal and as always it's a tough day in the saddle, Mahon Falls final kick was closed due to poor conditions, bad accident on decent from Powers the pot probably prompted this. We had one man Derry Cadogan retire due to mechanical on Tickoner, everyone else made back in one piece. Other members not shown were out but alas we didn't get any photos. Well Done to David White, Lloyd Weymouth, Brendan Walsh ,Tony Fitzgerald, Garry Harnett, Jason Bane, John Lynch, Michael O'Shea, Derry Cadogan and Pat Burke.

August 20th and 21st will See the Cycling Youth Nationals take place in Kanturk.

As a Club Midleton CTC is delighted to wish the best of luck to Adam and Luke O Brien, Alanna Drennan, Matthew and Pearse Broderick and Claude Mahony all of whom will be in attendance.

The Event will as mentioned be over two days and include both Road racing in Criterium form and also a solo Time Trial event.

Trained again this season by Tim Mahony and Clauds Father Mick Mahony the team have been putting in some hard miles training 4-5 days a week and are looking in good form. Our hopes are high that National Medals will be going home with our team come Sunday.

We have no doubt all will give their best and regardless of results we are immensely proud of their achievements and commitment.

Our team of juniors are a true credit to the Club and their Families .

Good luck to all our Juniors, we hope above all you enjoy your weekend cycling.
